Decided to write again..

I am now living in an intentional community in AR. I came here a little over a year ago and am still here.

Lets see if I can make this short and sweet...I was travelin around and met a man in his 70s named Day...I continued to travel and every time I went through AR I decided to drop in and say hello. The last time I came through(AUG 09), we talked about his other property and how he had always wanted it to be community. So here we are at The RHC or The RoundHouse Community..trying to make community and succeeding slowly. It takes time and patience and perseverance to live and make a community work. Here are the links to our communities web-pages:

alicatpurrrrrrrrrrr (8/22/2009 2:15:50 PM): it does wonders for my asthma
Bryan Doe (8/22/2009 2:16:01 PM): how about it's sad that you have to have substance abuse in order to expand your mind, it's sad that you don't have the creativity to think outside the box without
alicatpurrrrrrrrrrr (8/22/2009 2:16:45 PM): ohh i do...i use it for medicine for my asthma mostly...but "pot" is not what expanded my mind
Bryan Doe (8/22/2009 2:17:11 PM): smoking pot to cure your asthma, is like fucking for virginity
alicatpurrrrrrrrrrr (8/22/2009 2:18:06 PM): what expanded my mind most was a rainbow gathering where everyone loved eatch other....everyone excepts each other..and i didnt not say it cures my asthma..but it def helps me breath better...i have bad asthma and inhalers are now over $60 and they only last me for 2 weeks
alicatpurrrrrrrrrrr (8/22/2009 2:18:27 PM): but a quarter of pot costs me less than 20 and lasts me for over a month
alicatpurrrrrrrrrrr (8/22/2009 2:18:29 PM): thank you
Bryan Doe (8/22/2009 2:18:50 PM): yeah ok
Bryan Doe (8/22/2009 2:19:02 PM): what about going to college and all that?
alicatpurrrrrrrrrrr (8/22/2009 2:20:08 PM): i dont need it..i have the world to teach me...plus i never plan on having another "job"..now I go and work in gardens and such..lived on communes..going to live on a commune next month...as of now i am leaving tomorow to help a very good friend whith his huge gardens..he is over 70 years old
Bryan Doe (8/22/2009 2:20:25 PM): lol, you're a fucking hippie
Bryan Doe (8/22/2009 2:20:33 PM): go away
alicatpurrrrrrrrrrr (8/22/2009 2:20:38 PM): yup..a gypsie/hippie
alicatpurrrrrrrrrrr (8/22/2009 2:20:43 PM): ok
Bryan Doe (8/22/2009 2:20:57 PM): better lookup "gypise" before you go calling yourself that
alicatpurrrrrrrrrrr (8/22/2009 2:21:10 PM): were not flys that you can just swat at..
Bryan Doe (8/22/2009 2:21:34 PM): go back to your fucking commune, and leave the rest of society a lone
alicatpurrrrrrrrrrr (8/22/2009 2:21:37 PM): there are sooo many of us...you cant exterminate us...
alicatpurrrrrrrrrrr (8/22/2009 2:21:55 PM): and u cant forget about us..because on day you are oging to need us
Bryan Doe (8/22/2009 2:22:04 PM): need you for what?
Bryan Doe (8/22/2009 2:22:09 PM): an orgy?
Bryan Doe (8/22/2009 2:22:20 PM): murder some celebrities?
alicatpurrrrrrrrrrr (8/22/2009 2:22:30 PM): well when nationalism collapses you will need those that can live off the land with out the help of modern day shit!
Bryan Doe (8/22/2009 2:22:44 PM): sure sure, whatever you say mrs manson
alicatpurrrrrrrrrrr (8/22/2009 2:22:59 PM): i advocate peace not violence
Bryan Doe (8/22/2009 2:23:23 PM): really? why are you still bothering me when i told you to leave me alone?
Bryan Doe: if you don't need technology then why are you using it now?
alicatpurrrrrrrrrrr: u said to leave you alone..that is what i am going to do
Bryan Doe is typing a message.
Bryan Doe: i'll tell you why, because your life is a hypocracy you'll think peace and passive aggressivism when someone comes and fire bombs your hovel

The Path to Immortality

This is a new and amazing book with an amazing author check him out on myspace

http://www.myspace.com/societys_distortion

.. WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT...

The Path To Immortality-Society’s Distortion , is the bridge from deeply wise and open ended people, to the socially silenced people. To show all that conformity will eventually kill us all, by slowly killing who we are as individuals. This book is broken down in to three parts. Part 1- poetry, emotional poetry that is based on real world issues, and past experiences. Part 2- philosophy, the ideas in which Paulo Reyes come to hold as eye opening, and deeply hidden, but based on sociological submission. Part 3- quotes, quotes suited for different situations based on life experience.

As you venture through the mind of Paulo Reyes, you will fall to hate, anger, pain, fear, and tears. You will feel his emotional, raw, and untamed words as they reach deep in to the soul and mind. For, The Path To Immortality-Society’s Distortion , is from the mind, directed to the heart, and created for thought. As we all live in our society we will open the eyes of our, break the chains that bind the mind, and find the true meaning of our creation. For most will search their entire life for what they seek, but for some, this book will be the ending point for that search. So just open your heart, open your mind, and open the book.

For the people who can change this world don’t care, and the people who care, can‘t do a damn thing.

“One man may not be able to change this world, but we as a whole can effect how others see it.”

The Significant Events that I can remember!

I have decided to start writing down my travels and such stuff as the "Significant Things". That was its not so hard on my Ol' Nogg'n.

Here's what I wrote on paper......(wrote yesterday)

I left the roofing job early, all of us did. Ben had already left a few days before we did. So Sketch, Swuirt, Pockets, Modig, Little Bitch (the dog), and I hitched to just north of Allen, TX toghether. We all cozied up nextr to each other in a tent. The next morning we split up into 2 groups. one of 2 (skectch and squirt and the other group of 3 (Modig, pockets and I). So my group went on up the road to Gainsville TX where I ended up having to go to the hospital, by ambulance(I am doing better). Had to squat in gainsville because they gave me a pain med that kicked my ass! Every hour I got 25mg of morphin through a patch for 4 days. Made a very good amount of money there. I really learned about flying a sign there...We all were tripp
n that whole week...CCC+morphin...woohooo...While trying to get out of Gainsville we had to wealk 2 mi in 115 degree weather. I was carring an amp (sidekick), 76' Jackson hollow bodied electric guitar, Martin Backpackers guitar, Trumpet, saxophone and my pack, very heavy... We didnt have much water so the 1st mi we conserved our wqater then the next mi we had no water. Needless to say the last mi we didnt have a sip of water left. I quit sweatring during the end of that walk. We saw a truck stop sign from about 1/2 mi away. We get ther and its burned down so no water..such a disappointment. I saw a mobile home sales lot so I went over and used the spickett. Aprayed myelf down. drank large amounts of water then took the rest over and shared with my friend..not 15 min later iwent back to get more water and all the splashing i had done had dissapeared..it sure was hot. we got a ride out of there. oh btw, modig left us about 2mi back to hitch on her own.
Pockets and I hitched to 40 then thru most of OK till we got put up in a hotel for 5 days. Then pockets and i took seperate journeys. I went on to ride a penske truck to Alb NM (thanks to Craigslist rideshare) then some cuba locals picked me up there and took me to welcome home. There I stayed for over a month and a half. Had a blast watched alot of naked ppl dance around in mud. I stayed at nationals till there were about 25ppl left...there was over 20000 of us there...Then I took off with sketch and squirt (they bought an rv) and their friends anthony and nola were with em. We traveled to conway ark where they dropped me off..and anthony and nola decided to go with me. We hitched to Harrison then hitched to bergman where my little sis lives. Then we split up..Nola and anthony went to eureka springs and I stayed behind. I will soon go to see a very good friend named Day in AR and help him with his huge gardens. Then while I am there I plan to put in an "App" for Eastwind commune so that I may visit and hopefully live there. Its in Tecumseh MO. Loving All of You soo very much. Sorry about all the mispellings but I didnt have much time on the computer!

Peace to all my Brothers and Sisters!

OH to AZ

What a trip it has been. I ended my last post in Huntington. So we will start from there....

I was in Huntington WV for a week. I stayed in a small one room cabin in the woods. No electricity and a wood stove. It was awesome. I had thought about leaving there before my birthday, 4/14, but decided I didnt want to be traveing on my bday. So I stayed there for my bday. It rained all day and the night before..Well the mountains where I was in Midkiff are all thick clay so it became extrememly muddy. I had a preetty decent time for my bday. But I sure miss popcorn. So I had to climb off the mountain because during that rain my friend Robbie got his Tracker put in a pond coming down the mountain on my bday. I had ran out of water and not much food left so I had to get off the mountain. Well I got off the mountain (not easy), then tried to find my way to Robbies house (I went the wrong way 2 times...blahh that was realy tiring. Plus where I broke the side of my foot while I was in college..was cramping horribly even before I left the cabin and walked down the mountain. Well I finaly made it to Huntington and walked to what I thought was towards the interstate that I needed but I found out I walked the wrong way..But I kept going anyways...Well I put my thumb out when i finally could in Ohio...And less than a minute later I had a ride. This ride was going to some town in Ohio that wasnt really that far..but he took me to lexington KY, which I thought was awesome!! Thanks Kevin!! Well Kevin dropped me off at a truck stop and within the hour I had a ride that was going all the way to the west coast. Now you guys know how much I want to see popcorn so I took that ride. It took 3 days for me to get from ohio to flagstaff...not bad for hitchin....Well so on that sat before i arrived in flagstaff I emailed popcorn to let him know i was coming. Cuz thats where he has been. So I waited there for 2 ddays. The first day I got to flagstaff it was 11pm and cold. I had no idea where anything was..and I still hadnt heard from popcorn in about 2 weeks. So I just used my intuitin..and it sure did work. I was led to an awesome park where I arrived around 2am and layed down cuddled up to a huge pine tree..but what sucked is I dont have any blankets...It was less than 32 degrees for sure..maybe around 27 or so...well needless to say i froze my ass off...but the next day i sat at the library in the park all day..at Wheeler park met some women from the mission there and was taken to the mission to stay...But damn it if I didnt want to stay in some shelter..I can handle the cold.. So I stood there for a long moment infront of the buzzer for the door to go in...With my head down an emo kids comes walking up past me and asks me whats in my black bag...well i told him it was my guitar..he said aww you play guitar I said yes..and he invited me to play that night there was an open mic night. I told him that i would if i could find a place to sleep that night. He asked what i was doing and I said i was a hitch hiker and had just arrived that previous night. He ran his fingers through his gotee and said I may have a place for you...We went right next door to a house there and that was where he lived. with several roomates...they let me sleep on there couch that night. Now lets continue the story from meeting the new friends. Well the one that offered me a place to stay was Ash. I found out that they were a very popular band there in flagstaff. They even had concerts in their basement, they called the house the cottage house. It was awesome! Well that night I played guitar and listened to lost of others play. Then we played some together it was an awesome adventure with crazy stuff on the projector (oh by the way we were set up outside). We all played the electric guitar. It was so awesome!!So the next day i was at Wheeler park watching to see if popcorn would show up to the library to check his messages when a man with a cute overweight dachsund that had a huge tung hanging out the side of its mouth...(always out the side of his mouth) well the mans name is ben and his dogs name is rusty..well we sat and talked for a bit and he told me that he had just left everything...so he was a newbie..Well he took me to McD's and bought me 3 burgers. Well we had talked aobut traveling together him, me and popcorn. Well he took me in to the library and i was able to check my email...well popcorn said he was in san diego...arrggghh!! well so me and ben decided we would go and get him..well while we were in pheonix az i got intouch with a friend of mine TJ who I have known for about 5 years now. Well we decided to take a 6 hour detour and that is hwere right now we are about an hour east of Tucson on I-10 in a smal town called Willcox. While on the way we had no money so I spanged for gas the whole way. We have a CB in the truck (a really good one) so I was bored while in Tucson and started talking on it and telling jokes to make the truckers laugh...well then I said what do you do when a gwoman is sittting on the hood of her truck playing guitar with pink tipped dreads and bright colored clothes on..well they did konw I said well you shove dollar bills in her shoes lol..and then i said that i was thinking about sitting on the hood and doing just that ...Because I was out of gas and needed some moeney> well I had a trucker come on there and say he had some spare change..Well long story short he bought me a coke and gave me $20. Well that got us here..and now I am sitting in luxury with an airconditoiner, a nice bed to sleep intonight..and food and even soda! Oh ya and internet and tv and movies...im a pimpin "foundatoin impaired" person!! By the way..I am surrounded by the most beautiful and wonderful ppl...everywhere i go!

Loving you all

welcoming you to our lives
February 17, 2009 — skinthathippy
hello all! we are welcoming you from destin fl we started 1398 miles ago. ok, we started in northern arkansas right after a really bad ice storm. one of the worse storms in ar history. it dumped like 2″ over night then like another inch the next day. we were stuck in this old house that used to be a hippie commune and hadnt had anyone there for a long time. all we heard was trees fallin and branches hitting the roof as they fell.

i know thats not much but the wife and i just picked our feet up about 3 weeks ago. we are headed for ocala national forest for the ocala gathering. after that where we go is a mystery.

life in general is a mystery and its nice to wonder whats going to happen. im glad we dont try to ruin it all by guessing! when u guess whats going to happen or you try to MAKE things happen its so damned stressful. worrying just doesnt do anything for you besides shorten your lifespan

well in the beginning of our travels we stayed withthis pretty cool couple but they were not the cleanest. they kept telling us they would hookus up with a ride out of town (conway ar) we ended up staying there for like 2 1/2 weeks and they werent even home half the time they were doing drugs and such instead. they would get home and fight so we were kinda kidnapped instead of the original plan. they were good pplthough they were just caught up with all the lil stupids things in life which mean nothing (what type of clothes they wore, cars, ect…..) so just slightly lost.

so we hitched from conway to the middle of no where in the rain. we got stuck in little rock for a few hours and it wasnt the best situation but it was fun we were able to touch some lives there. a woman approached us as we were sitting infront of the library (im breaking up butts tryin to roll a smoke and she was takin off her pack to go inside) and said we were very intresting people and her husband would like to paint us. wow!!! i didnt know i was modelworthy, yay!!!!!!!!!!

well we r sitting under this bridge trying to stay dry and i have some money (like $1.60) and i start to ask people if i gave them a gallon of gas worth of money would they give us a ride to outside of town. well like the 13th guy we ask says he would but last time he did something like that he got robbed and hijacked so he couldntdo it but he could give us some money. he gives us this $ 20 bill and as i go to get it hes really skittish and nervous so u know hes telling the truth.

why do people treat each other like that? i dont understand. those assholes stole that guys innocence and heart because they were prob too worried bout their crack habit. i cant believe that the animal, aka the human, could be this way to fellow members of theyr kind and good ones at that. what has happened to our species? have we brainwashed ourselves to the point that we think thats normal and ok? yes!!! how could we allow that to happen? selfishness and lack of unityand community. we arenta peopl anymore we r indivduals who are so obsessed with ourselves all we see is the inside of our anuses

well we get to the outskirts of little rock on a bus and its pouring down rain. we walk like 3 miles and the people who drove past us would seem to speed up as they past like we would jump out in front of them or something. we keep seein the interstate and need to get to it but to get there we could walk straight (and parallel) or cross a swamp. we keep walking. ok so we get to a spot we can cross. so now we r on the interstate and same thing zoom past zoom past. we walk like another 1/2 mile. oh yeah a bridge up ahead. somewhere dry.

we get under this bridge, its like 10:00 pm, cold, and finally dry. lay out the blanket, hurry!!! so we do. the incline under the bridge is so steep we keep sliding down. shit!!!!! oh yeah, i have a shovel!!!! so we dig out these little shelves for our butts to fit in (naked by the way, burrrrrrrrrr!!!) well, sleep comes (kinda). wake up time, still so cold ok we can stay in bed! ope its like 3:00pm and not raining, lets run!!!

ok we get everything picked up, on the road, and sticking the thumb out. yes, a ride!!!!!! please take us to the nearest truck stop. pine bluff, ar. pilot. drying off, and this lady who works there gives us a shower and starts crying because she wants to help so badly! well she takes us home with her. o wow!!! two blunts and two joints later we r sleeping on her floor. next day she takes us to walmart and spends like $30 on US in food and tobacco plus gives us a ride down the road.

we walk a few miles and some one brings us a ways to the south. we r in this very small town wondering how we r going to get accross the mississippi so we sit at a gas station, and get some energy drinks and this lady gives us $20, wow ty so much!!!!!!!!!!!!! we takeoff with intent of crossing the bridge on foot walk like 3/4 a mile and figure screw this lets go back and try to get a ride. well we wait like 10mins at the store and i ask this couple if they would take us accross for a couple dollars they did but told us to keep the money.

well we r now in ms, yay!!!!!! the couple give us anouther $20 and we r talking they find out i tattoo and so now they take us to their house. i give a tat and gorge myself on hamburgers and other great food. the next day they bring us to greenville ms. we eat at a t-stop and as i pay i realize we r $28 shorter then we were, thank the gods we had $50!!!!!

we r walking to indianola and get picked up by this nice old couple and they drop us off at walmartsaying they will be back with a friend who will give us a ride to fla, yay!!!!!!!! well we wait like 3 hours never show up. damn it!!!!! so we start walking we get out of town and its now like 7:00pm, DARK, and swampy damn it there is no where we can make camp so we gotta keep walking. we get picked up by a trucker @ like 8:30 and he takes us to a pilot in winona, ms.

we sit at the t-stop for like 3 hours and now this old man (trucker) is talkin to us and we tell him our story so he now is trying to help us find a trucker who will takeus some where closer to here, but alas no one seems to be going that way. another trucker is now standing and conversing with us. he needs to go to decatur al. wow man can we catch a ride? yep, yay!!!!!!!!!

ok so we reach decatur and drop his load, so as we r with him he picks up his load info and he has one from decatur to n.c. and they gave him 4 days to get there. wow, he can bring us to fla now and wants to!!!!! yay!!!!!!! he wanted to have some fun instead of just drive and liked the company.

so here we are in my cousin ninas house in destin fl visiting before we gotta pick up and finish the trip to ocala. o wait, u wanna see the beautiful white beaches and 70 degree weather? we are right now!!! wanna wait a bit before gotta walk through more swamp!!!

well ty for taking the time reading my babble. and i hope u follow our travels from now on. the rest wont be so long (hopefully!!!!!). leave us msg’s and comments. wanna know what u think and would love to read your adventures too!!!

truly,

popcorn

ali too of course!!

Traveling Up and Down the East Coast
April 8, 2009 — skinthathippy
Hello all, Sorry I havent been able to keep you up to date. Its really hard when you dont have access to internet. Well lets cut the chitchat and start the story….I am going to skip alot of stuff..

I traveled from Pittsburgh to Midkiff WV (thats near Huntington). I went down I-79, Snow the whole way. I started out around 10am or so. I hitched all the way, alone. It was a wonderful experience. Met alot of great ppl. I got 8 rides, 2 apples, a banana, $45, 4 dbl cheeseburgers from all the wonderful ppl. It pays to hitch. I want you to know up front that i do not beg from money. I do not even ever ask for money, food, or anything beyond a ride. I am extremely greatful for everything!

I was standing on the onramp, it was snowing hard. I was still happy. I kept singing and laughing the whole time! I love to have fun no matter what I am doing.

Your prolly wondering, where all have you been? How did you get there?

The last time we talked to you we were together in Destin, FL. Now were seperated (but still together just different places). We went to Ocala National Forest like planned. The gathering was pretty good, nothing bad happened. Then we left with some friends to the next gathering in Acola national forest near Tallahassee. On the trip we stopped at a Hoddy (hotel) and took showers. God was I ever dirty, water was running black (not exagerating). Well from Acola, Popcorn decided that he wanted to go to the Grand Canyon with a caravan of ppl. But i still wanted to do what I had originally planned. Follow the east coast for a while then slowly make my way inward then to the west coast and do the same there. So Popcorn left and I traveled for a while with a guy named Aries. i am not going to go into alot that happened becase I dont want to talk mean about someone. Aries and I split our ways in NJ at the Vince Lambarti truck stop where I went to Pittsburgh and seen some of my great friends Sol and Rae and Helen.

While I was in Philly (for a week), I got to hang out with Chris from 721sandwiches. That was absolutely awesome! Chris is an amazing individual! I want to say thanks..Thanks Chris!!

Since I am leaving alot out of the mix because of Aries and a very sad and angry man named Wolf. I will tell you I traveled and stayed in Savanah (GA)(St. Patty’s Day parade),Baltimore, Philly, NYC, West Palm Beach (FL). There might have been more places but i cant remember.

I left FL mid march i think, so i have done alot of traveling in that short amount of time. Now I am in WV seeing an old friend of mine Danny, whom I havent seen in 2 years or so.

i was very excited to be coming this way. I havent been to WV in about 3 years. Its lovly country here and everyone is so very nice. its almost like being at home…with the exception of thicker accents here. I am fixing to leave to go to the hunting lodge out in the middle of the woods. Thats where I am going to be staying while I am here.

Well I hope that sates you for now….

Neighbors...close and far away......

I have a close friend we call Popcorn, who wrote this essay and I wanted to share it with you...it rings very true...Leave a comment and tell me waht you think about today's society and how we treat everyone from those close to us to those we have never met....

Essay: "Neighbors"

Neighbors. What do most of us know about neighbors or care for them? For the most part, nothing. Most people nowadays don't know their neighbor nor do they care to know them. Why? I don't know why. I mostly believe it's due to being from a "me-me" society; a society and culture that cares for no one or nothing but themselves.

Neighbors at one point in time used to be like extended family. That has changed. Most people don't even care about their own family, let alone some people who live next to them. "Why should I care for them, I don't know them," they think. Truly, why should they?

Why? Simply because without care for others then there is no true care for one self. "How?" You ask. Well, look at it. Without true 'neighborly behavior' society falls apart. Even if stuff happens on such a small scale as neighbors not getting along, it turns to big scale problems. Society is based on the well being of its members, the interaction of its members. Anyone who is even slightly familiar with sociology will point this out to you, but do you ask? No, of course not. You're too busy buying clothes or throwing away your slightly used shoes just because 'they are a year old'. You're too worried about yourself to worry about others.

I guess I sound very socialistic (which I'm absolutely not), because some of their arguments ring true. What is the well being of the individual, when the whole is decaying? Why should people care if everything is going to shit? Well, because one person can make a difference. If one person tries to reach out to their neighbors for selfless reasons, then that one becomes however many they reach out to.

A good society is not based on the well being of the economy or government body, but the well being of the people. Not the individual, but the whole. If everyone would take a true interest in others, then we would be a healthier society.

Health updates and such...

I found out that it wasnt the pain meds that caused the severe reaction...it was the augmentin xr sr.
Now I can take the pain meds like i need. So if I take alot of pain meds in the morning then about an hour later I can stand to get down all the pills. I am feeling alot better for the most part. Still haveing a bit of a time but hopefully soon all will be well and I can start to travel again. I have a feeling that my days are not up!!

I will not give up on my dreams..remember I said that several months ago and I still mean it!! Alot of ppl around me want me to stop and get a real job and stick it around here...I take a look at that senerio and think..where will that get me in 20 years? Definitely not somewhere I want to be!! Do I want to be stuck in one town for 20 years, if you know me or even if you dont and all you have to go is this blog..you should know...that NO that wont do!

I love thrills, I love challenges, I love living!

Hospitalized...

I just wanted everyone to know why I have been gone for so long. I just got released by the hospital today. I had a sore throat when i went to bed. I woke up at exactly 420am the next morn...In sever pain. My neck was swollen on the outside severly from my ear my cheek (even my cheek bone was sore to the touch) and all the way down my neck. The inside of my throat was so swollen you wouldnt have been able to put a pencil though it. I could barely breath, couldnt even drink water. I tryed some homeopathy (usnea that I had) helped a little but not enough...I was dizzy sweating and freezinf with a high fever. I didnt go to the hospital I thought I could weather it out...The next day I called my sister and asked her if she could bring me something to help..needless to say I couldnt take so Blue was talking for me while I wrote everything down. When she got there she said tht I needed to go to the hospital emediately (but at that point i didnt understand what she was saying I was sooo sick) so I didnt take the advise...I slept for 2 days...then finally I went to the hospital because it wasnt getting any better at all..infact it was getting alot worse. I went to our local hospital here they got me straight into the ER, something that had never happened before...never gone straight in..normally takes a couple of hours...but guess I was that bad. They sent in several ppl one after another boom boom boom, finally the actually doc arrives in the room and says I needed a CT scan cuz he was afraid that I could be getting an abcess in my throat. Didnt know you could have an abcess in your throat, thought that was just a tooth thing...but well right after the CT scan they shipped me to Springfield hospital to a St. Johns. There I stayed for a while. Where I got alot more needle poked and many bruises but the staff was extremely great! Actually the most bruising I got was from the hospital here. I have so many needle bruises all over...from my hip to all over my arms...they were gonna stab my throat...glad they didnt have to do that...Well i dont have long here and i need to take some more pain meds...The meds that they subscribed me I couldnt afford...cost over 200 dollars but the hospital has this service to help some ppl who cant afford meds...ofcourse they are very picky on who they help...and well my throat was a severe thing...they emmediatly got a fax down there to pay for all the meds. I have to take 16 peniciallian pills everyday no joke. and ofcorse all the pain pills i will need. even have a refill. I dont have much time like i said here so i am not gonna correct my misspellings so plaease excuse that. Well I got released today around 2pm or so. I still have to go back for surgery on my throat but I have to wait till jan. Unless its gets worse..which i hope it wont. I couldnt breathe, drink water, eat...nothing..I was puking becuase of all the acid in my stomach and not having anything in my stomach for almost 3 days. and it took all day with pain meds and many anti biotics to get my throat to open up enought to allow some water through and when i was finally able to eat some jello it was realy great. Oh and I couldnt talk ofcourse. Now I can talk, eat semi soft food, and drink. Still hurts but not nearly as bad as before. Well gotta go if you have any questoins please feel free to ask em...lots of love!!

Hitching from Norwood, MO (54mi)to Springfield. MO (85mi)to Harrison, AR Shoutout to Monte!

Ok so I just left Smitty's house 2 nights ago. Watched the Cowboys vs 49ers Sun before I left..Which had me leaving really late (330pm). Ruby and I walked several miles, till roughly midnight. I would have kept walking but we were so cold. I have no idea what the temp was but it was cold..my fingers from thumbing it, was almost numb. Well I set up the tarp (first time btw, just the tarp part), and my sleeping bags and me and Ruby settled in for the night, in between the W60 and the outer road. Well (I am guessing on "times") about 2 or 3 am, I still hadn't been able to fall asleep, because my nick was really hurting (from the pack and from the terrain) and I hadn't eaten that day so I vomited 3 times (during the course of the night) from acid in my stomach, I had a huge headache, and freezing, well at about 2 or 3 am it started lightly raining..so I pulled the tarp over us the best I could but it just wasn't doing all that much good..so needless to say I got about an hour or so of sleep and when morning came we were really wet and cold. Let me tell you how cold it was...when I woke up and started to pick everything up I couldn't feel my fingers nor my feet, and Ruby's nose (which is normally red) was almost white and her ears were freezing (which are normally really warm...). Well after walking for a while a trucker finally picked us up and took us to the bus station. I arrived at the station at about 9am and Blue was due in at 12:30...Well Blue arrived and we went to walmart..about 2 miles away (I think). I don't know if you guys know or not but I have asthma really bad and had ran out of my meds not quite 2wks ago. So I was having a really hard time breathing. Well we went to walmart to see if i could get my meds transferred...well they could but they discontinued the meds that i take(which normally only cost me $12.00) so there was a new meds that were much more expensive ($43.00)..YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!! So there was no way I could afford it..So since I couldn't get the meds I went around the walmart and tried to find some food...well this was a fairly new walmart, I wouldn't find the food (i cant see very well so I thought they had just put it in an odd spot, So I asked a walmart employee about the food...well that walmart hadn't gotten there food stuff yet..go figure..so I talked to her about some over the counter meds for my asthma...one thing led to another and she also has asthma...but didn't have an inhaler on her. Here is a really kick ass thing...she got off work in 10 min, she TOOK me to her house and gave me a full inhaler!! Then took me back to the walmart! How awesome is that..a TRUE LIFE SAVER! So got back to the walmart and we left there and went across the street to the BIG Kmart (first time I had been to one of these) well Blue went inside and got some tuna and some peanut butter crackers (needed protein really bad). While we were eating, this woman comes up and says here go buy you some burgers and hands us $5...cool! So after we left there we walked around trying to remember where my friend monte lived...couldn't hardly remember..so we walked several miles up and down streets that I thought were right...finally after it got dark we went to a Shoney's and I used the phone..btw I didn't know monte's number anymore, so I called his work and of course he wasn't working and they couldn't tell me (legally) his number, so they called him instead and gave him the number to where I was..awesome huh!! Well he called me..and come to find out he didnt even live in the same place anyways...so we got a cab and went to his house. Had a wonderful time..I got to watch mon night foot ball and monday night WWE!! So I didnt have to miss any of my shows LOL...Needless to say we all had a wonderful time. Gotta love Monte! Well monte had to be at work early so at about 730am we left with his mom and him..dropped him off and then she was nice enough to take us to the corner where we needed to get to get on the freeway...Awesome....and dear if you read this...thank you sooo much. So we stayed at the gas station for a while...and this dude comes up, he has lots of piercings like I do...he says I see your headed to Ark..Im from ark too...and he said he wanted to help us out...this guy didnt have a bunch of money..infact it looked like he gave us all he had...he gave us $5....We werent flying signs or spanging.....So I got up and hugged they guy and told him how thankful I was. and Blue hugged him too. Well after that we headed up the ramp to hwy65..walked about 6 or 7 miles, I think, till we got to the ramps of freeway 60...I told Blue that I wasnt going another step from this spot that we stopped...It looked like the best place to camp for the night. I didnt want to get caught again like the other night where Ruby and I froze.. Well about 20 min later...my cousins husband shows up and gives us a ride all the way to my sisters house!! How cool is that...I said I wasnt walking another step..and I didnt have tooo!!! So here I am. Using her computer, so you guys can know whats going on...So tonight I get to take a shower and lay in a real bed (tho at monte's I got to sleep ina real bed too), but this time I dont have to get up at 7am...and boy am I tired....found out my pack weighs almost 100lbs....boy is it majorly heavy...well thats all folks lol...

Loving You All

Travelers....

I have a brother who has been trying to make it to Missouri from SC. Have many of you ever heard of manifesting? I mean making something happen just by thought? Well, my brother Blue did just that. About 15 minutes after getting off the phone with me, he got a greyhound ticket purchased for him. And a day before that he was needing more money...well he found 3 dollars in his pocket...I think that's great news...

So Monday the 24th I will be picking him up from the bus station in Springfield. Then we are heading south for thanksgiving..going to spend it with my brother-in-laws family. Its not that far south..I have a few ideas of what I wold like to do. First, I want to spend some quality time with my sister. While I was in Harrison the last time I didn't get to spend any time with her...I miss her something terrible.

I have a good friend that I haven't seen since high school in OK..I would really like to spend some time with her and her family...and I just love spending time with my family(friends are my family too). I hope to meet some great family..like ACE, BLUE, and JAI...Nata..sooo many...SCIENCE..ohh so many..Love You ALL!!

Well this is going to be a short post...just wanted to update everyone....and tell ya all that I LOVE YOU!!!
